Postby darlan1 » 14 May 2016, 23:42

Hello,
As we know, the xml file for google maps are always changing. Where can I find the lastest version of xml for google Hybrid (satellite + map)? Or how can I create this by myself?
I'm using the 1.9.7

May someone send the text of the lastest xml file for google hybrid here?

im running MOBAC 2.0 beta1 with this mapsource:

Code: Select all

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>
<customMultiLayerMapSource>
<name>Google-hybridni-256</name>
<tileType>jpg</tileType>
<layers>
<customMapSource>
<name>Google-satelite-256</name>
<minZoom>0</minZoom>
<maxZoom>19</maxZoom>
<tileType>jpg</tileType>
<tileUpdate>None</tileUpdate>
<url>http://mt{$serverpart}.google.com/vt/lyrs=s&amp;x={$x}&amp;y={$y}&amp;z={$z}&amp;scale=1</url>
<serverParts>0 1 2 3</serverParts>
<backgroundColor>#000000</backgroundColor>
</customMapSource>
<customMapSource>
<name>Google-hybrid-256</name>
<minZoom>0</minZoom>
<maxZoom>19</maxZoom>
<tileType>png</tileType>
<tileUpdate>None</tileUpdate>
<url>http://mt{$serverpart}.google.com/vt/lyrs=h&amp;x={$x}&amp;y={$y}&amp;z={$z}&amp;scale=1</url>
<serverParts>0 1 2 3</serverParts>
</customMapSource>
</layers>
</customMultiLayerMapSource>

i know urlcrafting is ugly here but working for me now. for high-res tiles you may change value "scale=1" to 2(512px) or 3 (768) or 4 for huge 1024 pixel tiles.

Thanks a lot! Where you get the xml code? Because it's changes often. How can I create that by myself?

Nothing special. Simply read wiki:
http://mobac.sourceforge.net/wiki/index ... ap_sources
and customize it for google.

i dont know OS X but if is another unix distro like linux you may try two ways. find file named "directories.ini" in path where mobac is instaled. probably somewhere in /usr/share/mobac or similar path. edit this file write line like

Code: Select all

mobac.mapsourcesdir=${home}/.mobac/mapsources
if directory not exist then create it in your home directory and paste xml mapsources here. another way is simply as root paste your xml files into directory named "mapsources" where mobac instaled is. this make them available system wide for all users.
